I've been checking my weight pretty regularly over the past month....and, sadly, it hasn't moved. I've been stuck in limbo at the same weight despite my best efforts. I've been strictly budgeting my daily calorie intake. I've been good not to waste calories on junk (except for the bite of something sweet here and there but no more than a bite!) I've been exercising more in the last month than I ever have in my life. I've been discouraged because it all seemed like such a waste. I dreaded checking my measurements tonight and almost didn't do it. I figured since I hadn't lost any weight it was pointless. I was wrong. Over the past month, despite the fact that it's not reflected on the scale,I've managed to lose a total of SIX INCHES!! So here are the new totals. I can't wait to see how they change this month!
Bust: 40" (Not that I'm thrilled to lose two inches in the boobs - but whatever it takes, right?)
Waist: 36" - no change. :(
Hips: 40" - another 2" gone!
Thighs: 21 1/2" - down an inch and a half from last month!
Biceps: 12 1/2" - 1/2" an inch gone and I think I might have felt a little less jiggle in that area!
So that gives me the renewed enthusiasm to keep this going. I'm pumped about it. And I'm feeling a lot better now that I'm not just eating crap all the time. I eat constantly - from the time I get up till the time I go to bed....but I manage to do it on less than 1400 calories a day, and when I'm 'grazing' it's on lots of fresh veggies and some fruit. I've got to start working more lean protein in my diet so I'm not starving all the time, but for now I'm really liking the results of consuming mostly unprocessed foods. Fresh is best after all, right?
